Teaching Portfolio

In this class, taught by Dr. Beth Simon, I was introduced to core programming concepts as well as how to teach these concepts to novices — with a focus on the K-12 age range. I applied teaching techniques that allow young learners to understand the simple processes behind each programming concept using Snap and other programming tools. Additionally, we discussed how traditional practices and structures impact problems of diversity and equity in computing education.
